Nets' Caris LeVert dislocates foot, won't need surgery
The Brooklyn Nets are off to a rough start this season, as they are 3-4 and 10th in the Eastern Conference.
However, they have plenty of time to turn their 2019-20 campaign around. The team added two of the NBA’s top stars this summer in free agency, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Brooklyn also added salary cap room by dealing Allen Crabbe and the No. 17 pick to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Taurean Prince. The Nets also boast former New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers star DeAndre Jordan, whom they signed to a four-year, $40 million contract in July.

The Nets also traded D’Angelo Russell to the Golden State Warriors and gained Wilson Chandler. Unfortunately for them, however, Chandler received a 25-game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy.

Brooklyn lost three of its first four games this season, but has since bounced back to win two of its last three against the Houston Rockets last week and against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. The Nets next go on a five-game road trip that begins with a game at Portland on Friday.
