Bomb Threat Delays Aaron Hernandez’s Trial

Someone claimed that there was a bomb in the Fall River Justice Center, the Massachusetts courthouse where Hernandez’s trial is taking place, Thursday.

As a result, the proceedings were temporarily halted as the building was evacuated and searched. After an all-clear at 1 pm, Judge E. Susan Garsh, the judge presiding the case, got the trial back underway.

Hernandez’s trial for the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd officially got underway on January 29. This week, Susan Garsh allowed jailhouse phone conversations into the trial. During the phone call, Hernandez offered his cousin money — specifically trust funds for his cousin’s kids — in return for her silence, according to ESPN.
