On Sunday, Philadelphia 76ers’ legend Allen Iverson turned 45 and the man known as ‘The Answer’ got some praise from a current member of the 76ers.
Current Sixer point guard Ben Simmons posted on his Instagram story with a picture of him and Iverson to acknowledge his birthday. “Happy birthday to a great @theofficialai3 big brother I appreciate what you have done for this game and how you’ve always shown love to those coming up.”
Iverson frequently shows up at 76ers home games and has been known for giving advice to the younger players on the team. Iverson always posted on his Instagram for his birthday. Using a picture of him on the court and instead of wearing his iconic number three, his jersey had the number 45. “Thank God, I’m blessed to be here right now.
