Aaron Judge Is Quickest Player In MLB History To Log 60 Career Home Runs [VIDEO]

Aaron Judge seems to be having almost as strong a beginning to his second MLB season as his first season.

Aaron Judge Records 60 Career Home Runs

The New York Yankees slugger — who will be 26 later this month — is now the fastest player in baseball history to record 60 career home runs. Judge reached the mark in Monday’s 12-1 home victory over the Miami Marlins, his 197th game during which he smacked four homers.

Judge now boasts a 12-game hitting streak, the second-longest of his career. His on-base percentage has now increased to 0.479.

Manager Aaron Boone praised the slugger for delivering a solid performance nearly every time he steps up to bat.

“He kind of sets the tone,” Boone said. “His at-bat quality has been through the roof. Every time. Whether he makes an out, whether he gets on base, whether he goes deep, whatever it is, pitcher’s have to work very hard to make their best pitches to retire him.”

Didi Gregorius, whose season has also gotten off to a great star, had two homers on Monday. Luis Severino held the Marlins hitless until a Miguel Rojas double in the fourth inning while recording eight strikeouts and allowing just one walk to earn his third victory.

Former Yankees star Derek Jeter has been a part-owner of the Marlins since September 2017.
