The Houston Rockets dominated in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night, securing a 127-105 home victory over the Golden State Warriors to tie the series 1-1.

Eric Gordon scored 27 points in 37 minutes of play. All-Star James Harden also had 27 points and 10 rebounds, despite struggling substantially to make many of his shots. Harden went 9-for-24 from the floor and a surprisingly low 3-for-15 from 3-point range.
P.J. Tucker — who had much trouble with offensive play in Game 1 — finished with a career postseason-high 22 points, as well as four assists, seven rebounds and a major dunk over Stephen Curry.

On the defending NBA champion Warriors’ side, Kevin Durant stood out greatly in the defeat by scoring a game-high 38 points on 13-of-22 shooting. Curry only managed 17 points on 19 shots and didn’t score a 3-pointer until early in the final period. Klay Thompson also underperformed relative to earlier in the playoffs: he had only eight points on 3-for-11 shooting.
Even the opponents praised Durant for his performance on Wednesday.
“My gosh, he’s unbelievable,” said Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni, per NBA.com. “He was incredible tonight.”

Game 3 is set for Saturday in Oakland. Game 4 will also be held at Oracle Arena.
