The worst possible eye injury that a human being could have ever suffered came last night during UFC’s Fight Night 81.

During one of the main card bouts in the heavyweight division, Matt Mitrione was set to face Travis Browne before the main event involving the UFC bantamweight championship match. During the first round of the match match, Browne threw a punch so hard at Mitrione that his eye started swelling. Using this to his advantage, Browne then jabbed his fingers into Mitrione’s eye twice and landed a giant fist to Mitrione’s eye socket, and the result of this punch is currently deemed NSfW and to be looked at with extreme caution.

Mitrione would end up losing the fight in the third round to Browne at the 4:09 mark, resulting in a TKO because of his eye. Later, it was revealed that Mitrione had suffered a broken orbital bone in his right eye in a hospital visit after the fight.
