49ers Re-Sign FB Kyle Juszczyk To 5-Year $27 Million Deal
The San Francisco 49ers have retained the services of Kyle Juszczyk for five more years. Juszczyk and the 49ers have come to terms to a five-year contract worth $27 million.
The five-time Pro Bowler has been an important part of the 49ers’ offense. Aside from Juszczyk’s blocking skills, he has shown his playmaking talents. The fullback has caught 102 passes for 1,080 yards and seven touchdowns over his career. The Pro Bowler has established himself as a star and he became the first fullback in nearly 20 years to score a touchdown in a Super Bowl.
Juszczyk has shown gratitude and excitement about staying in San Francisco. “So incredibly thankful to be apart of this organization for five more years,” he said. “Thank you, faithful for the continuous support! Looking forward to showing that the juice is always worth the squeeze,” the full-back said after committing to stay for another five years.
The 49ers are coming off a disappointing season that saw the team miss the playoffs after reaching the Super Bowl in 2020.
