There’s plenty to look forward to in Los Angeles Anaheim prior to the Angels’ 2022 season. First and foremost, they have (arguably) the two most exciting players in the game in Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, last year’s MVP.

Next, their 2021 record of 77-85 is expected to go up by five wins, for 36.6% playoff odds.

That alone is worth the price of admission.

Anthony Rendon will join the two talents for a heck of a feared trio. Jared Walsh, who hit .277/.340/.509 with 29 home runs last year, will look to contribute too.

Following Ohtani in the rotation is former Mets great Noah Syndergaard and Patrick Sandoval, who could turn a few heads.

The Halos opened the season on April 7 with four against Houston (1-3) at home. They’ll close out the first half with three against those same Astros and two against the Dodgers, all at home.

The second half begins with three in Atlanta and then three in Kansas City. The Angels will close out the 2022 campaign with three in Oakland.
