2022 Season Preview: Cincinnati Reds – Schedule, Tickets, Odds, Roster
With a projected 2022 record of 77-85 and 16.9% playoff odds, the Cincinnati Reds have their work cut out for them this season.

Cool-name-haver Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo, Tyler Mahle and Luis Castillo give Cincy four solid starters. While the lovable Joey Votto and Mike Moustakas will look to mash, and the speedy Nick Senzel will patrol center field. And catcher Tyler Stephenson will look to build on his rookie line of .286/.366/.431, and Tommy Pham will hope to bounce back after a down year in San Diego.
Two outfielders left the team, Jesse Winker and Nick Castellanos, but as we’ve seen there’s always addition by subtraction.

The Reds open the season on April 7 in Atlanta for four games. They’ll open their home schedule on April 12 with two games against the Cleveland Guardians, then close out the first half with three in New York against the Yankees and three in St. Louis vs. the Cardinals.
Their second half begins against the Cards as well and concludes with six games against the Chicago Cubs—three on the road then three at home.
Whatever way the chips may fall this season for the Reds, at least they got some headphones out of the deal.
