Who Are The Heisman Trophy Contenders? Arch Manning, Garrett Nussmeier & Cade Klubnik Lead The Pack

The Heisman Trophy is considered to be the most prestigious award a college football player can receive.

At the top of the list for possible winners of this prestigious award is Arch Manning. He is the starting quarterback for the Texas Longhorns at the University of Texas at Austin. He has been with the Texas Longhorns since the 2023 season.

Heisman Trophy Contenders

In the 2024 season, he appeared in 10 games out of the 16 games the Longhorns played. In these 10 games, Manning managed to make 61 completions out of the 90 attempts – that gives him an approximate 68% chance of making completion passes in the games. Manning had an amazing season, making him the favorite to win this year’s Heisman Trophy.

Some of the other candidates include quarterback Garrett Nussmeier of Louisiana State University, quarterback Cade Klubnik of Clemson University, wide receiver Jeremiah Smith of Ohio State University and rookie sensation quarterback Sam Leavitt of Arizona State University.
