Last week, I finished with a record of 9-4 going 2-0 on my Best Bets. This bring the season total to 34-27 and Best Bet record to 5-3. Not too shabby at all. The games are getting either very easy to bet or very difficult. As we all know there is no quantification for how hard a player decides to play that day — how bad a team wants to win. So the strategy is to take teams that are still playing for something against teams that are playing for nothing. Stay away from two teams both fighting for a something playoff related, or if players have contract incentives left. Most importantly, stay away from games where both teams aren’t playing for anything… Much harder to quantify how hard a player ISN’T going to play on that day. Picks:
