Tyreek Hill Confident Dolphins Can Turn Around 0-3 Start

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is still in good spirits after the team’s 0-3 start to the 2025 season.

The 31-year-old receiver posted 49 receiving yards in the team’s most recent loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday. Hill also recorded his first touchdown of the season as the team dropped its third straight game.

“Being 0-3, we’ve got to win right now,” Hill said after the loss. “We gotta find it sooner or later. I feel like this is a good start: we came out here and I feel like we did something that a lot of people didn’t expect us to do, which is to play a close game in Buffalo against Buffalo.”

Both teams traded two touchdowns in the first half as the game entered halftime at 14-14. Miami responded to an early third-quarter touchdown from the hosts through Hill’s five-yard touchdown catch.

However, the game took a twist after a roughing the kicker penalty called on Dolphins defensive tackle Zach Sieler allowed the Bills to continue driving down the field, which ultimately ended with a touchdown. Miami’s hopes of tying the game faded on the ensuing drive after Tua Tagovailoa pass was intercepted with less than four minutes left, effectively ending the game.

Hill remains optimistic that the Dolphins can turn around their poor start and make it a successful season.

“I think tonight showed if we played well as a team and play off each other, offense, defense, special teams, we can be a real special unit,” he said. “This is the NFL, it’s hard.”

“We got all the playmakers in the world that we need. We are in a great position to turn everything around. We got great captains, great leadership who do a great job of setting the standard everyday in practice and also in the locker room. So we got a beautiful thing going right now.”
