Tristan Gray Looks To Give Twins Depth

The Minnesota Twins have added some depth to their offense in a recent trade.

They got Tristan Gray from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for Nate Baez. The Twins have several utility players who are expected to compete for a roster spot in spring training.

Gray was drafted in the 13th round of the 2017 MLB draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He had played for three years at Rice University before being drafted.

Gray was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays a season later. He made his MLB debut in 2023. He played in the team’s 150th and 151st games of the season. In the second game he played, he got his first two major league hits against the Baltimore Orioles.
