Tom Brady & The Buccaneers Off To A Dominant Start

Tom Brady has entered his 22nd NFL season and is showing absolutely zero signs of slowing down.

The stats back up his dominance: the 44-year old has now thrown nine touchdown passes in his first two starts of the season, his personal best.

On Sunday against the Falcons, the GOAT threw five touchdowns and no interceptions, leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 48-25 win. He now has a whopping 17 touchdown passes over his last four games, dating back to the playoffs.

True to his character, Brady made sure to point out areas of improvement, despite his team now having scored a minimum of 30 points in each of their last nine games, all wins.

“What I think, and I’m sure other guys feel the same way, is I think we can do better,” Brady said. “I really do. And I really think we have the opportunity, with the way that the games are flowing and the opportunities we’re getting with the ball — we have even more…”

Brady’s correct, as dominant as his squad has been thus far, Tampa can get even better. The Bucs are tied for the league lead of 22 penalties, and also in turnovers with five.

“We’ve been a little loose with the ball. Some penalties at different times that have knocked us out of some scoring drives, some missed throws that I’ve had, some missed reads. I certainly wish I had made some better throws tonight. But it’s good to get the win, be 2-0 and there’s a lot to build on, and it’s good to beat a division opponent.”

Football fans must keep an eye on Brady this year, as he is defying and redefining the limits of what a pro football athlete can achieve at his age.
