Tom Brady wants to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for one major reason – the warm weather.
The 43-year-old quarterback is embracing the sun and looking forward to staying in Florida and returning to the Buccaneers when his two-year contract is up. “But I’ve loved just being outside every day,” Brady said. “I was a native Californian for a long time in my life and I went away from it for about 25 years. You won’t catch me dead living in the Northeast anymore. I’m loving the warm weather and it’s been a great feeling.”
This comes as Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen are selling their $40 million New York City apartment. They recently purchased a home on Creek Island, Florida that is nicknamed the “Billionaire’s Bunker.” The couple plan to demolish the home there and build their dream house as Brady continues to embrace the warm weather.
The 43-year-old quarterback has been playing great this season as he has 28 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 3,300 yards and completed 64.8% of his passes. He continues to excel and show that age is not slowing him down one bit.
