New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady has revealed secrets regarding his strict diet, which excludes tomatoes.
Brady, 38, has stated that he wants to continue playing football in his 40s. This certainly seems possible, given his performance, as well as the Patriots’ performance, in the past decade.
The QB reportedly eats a lot of healthy food, doesn’t drink, and eats avocado ice cream for dessert. Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen’s personal chef, Allen Campbell, recently told The Boston Globe.
“Eighty percent of what they eat is vegetables,” Campbell said. “[I buy] the freshest vegetables. If it’s not organic, I don’t use it.”

Brady also doesn’t eat a lot of inflammatory vegetables (and other inflammatory foods in general) like peppers, mushrooms, and eggplants. He also reportedly steers clear of fruit, as well as caffeine and dairy.
The items that are included in Brady and Bündchen’s diet, however, are snacks like vegetable sushi rolls, fruit rolls, and raw chocolate chip cookies. Their diet is also very seasonal: in other words, they will typically eat more dishes with red meats and vegetables during the wintertime, while summer meals are usually lighter, like salads.
One thing is very clear: Tom Brady demonstrates discipline both on and off the field.
