Tim Tebow Breaks Up Training Camp Fight

Tim Tebow is a muscular, peace-loving being who apparently can stop fights merely with his daunting presence.  In a recent joint practice between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, backup players got as heated as the weather and began engaging in fisticuffs and overall rowdiness. A small scuffle escalated quickly into multiple fights across the field, and all hell broke loose.

That is, until Tebow appeared.

Twitter reports scrambled to relay the fight between third and fourth stringers.

While fights within football teams are regular occurrences – apparently its good for unit cohesion – people have the possibility of being injured. With starters and main role players across all teams losing positions due to injuries or lawsuits, it is incredibly important for teams to remain healthy. Especially since the season is only in its infancy, and the regular season hasn’t even started. So, with Tebow’s stepping in, it bolstered his leadership stock in management’s eyes, and while the third and fourth stringers are fighting each other, Tebow, a fourth stringer himself, is fighting his way onto the roster.

Joint practices, while mutually beneficial for all parties involved, suffers from lackluster discipline stemming from heated emotions due to roster competition.

Tebow, who is coming off a solid preseason performance, knows how to play the game – both on the field, and on the field with angry guys.

Hopefully, he earns his spot as a hungry Tebow may be what the NFL needs right now.
