According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, golf legend Tiger Woods was hospitalized after he was in a single-vehicle car crash early on Tuesday morning near Rolling East Estates and the Ranchos Palos Verdes neighborhoods of California.
Woods had to be extricated from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life tools, the LA County Sherriff’s Department said in their statement.
The crash took place at about 7:12 a.m. and Woods was the driver and only occupant in the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
