Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are on a roll.
Durant scored a game-high 25 points, Curry had 24, and Thompson added 23 to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 127-107 home victory over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night.
Thompson scored four 3-pointers in his return from a one-game absence, and Durant also recorded nine assists and six rebounds. Each member of the trio finished with at least 20 points in the same game for the 13th time this season. The Warriors had 39 assists for their NBA-leading 27th game with 30 or more. Before the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr stated he was seeking defensive strength and ball security to gage whether or not his team was properly prepared.
“We always try to focus on the process and keep getting better,” Kerr said. “That’s all it’s about, continuing on with the work in progress and we made a good step tonight.”

”There’s going to be a stretch where they lock in,” Detroit guard Reggie Jackson said. ”For some reason they have a four-to-eight-minute window where they really lock in defensively and as they continue to score, they find a way to get stops.”
