Since the Houston Astros lead the Washington Nationals 3-2 in the 2019 World Series, one could reasonably assume the Astros might feel pretty confident in needing just one more win to capture the title.

Add to that the fact that they are headed back to Houston for Game six and it should seem like a lock. Game six is scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.

However, the only problem is that home-field advantage has been an absolute non-factor so far in this series. The Nationals marched into Houston the first time and took the first two games of the series on the road. Upon returning to D.C., on the other hand  things began to seriously unravel as the Nats dropped three in a row to leave them in a win-or-go-home scenario heading into Game six.

“These guys, they’re not going to quit, I can tell you that right now,” Nationals manager Dave Martinez said. “I told them, I said, ‘I know we’re going to go 1-0, but we’re going to play Game 7, I believe that. So keep pushing.’”

If the Nationals were able to get a win on the road and force a Game seven, it would be the first time a road team ever won Game six of the World Series.

Stephen Strasburg will get the ball for the Nationals and look to shut down a red-hot Astros offense to force that Game seven. On the other side, Justin Verlander will look to shut the door on the Nationals. Verlander is coming off of four postseason starts in which he has posted three losses and a no-decision.

When it comes to the Astros, they do not even want to consider the possibility of a Game seven, as they look to wrap up the series in nine innings.

“We’ve got to win one more game,” said Houston shortstop Carlos Correa.

Here are the potential lineups for Game six:

Washington Nationals

1) Trea Turner, SS

2) Adam Eaton, RF

3) Anthony Rendon, 3B

4) Juan Soto, LF

5) Howie Kendrick, DH

6) Ryan Zimmerman, 1B

7) Asdrúbal Cabrera, 2B

8) Kurt Suzuki, C

9) Victor Robles, CF

Houston Astros

1) George Springer, CF

2) José Altuve, 2B

3) Michael Brantley, LF

4) Alex Bregman, 3B

5) Yuli Gurriel, 1B

6) Yordan Alvarez, DH

7) Carlos Correa, SS

8) Robinson Chirinos, C

9) Josh Reddick, RF
