Carmelo Anthony has been recently rumored to be traded by the New York Knicks, and C.J. McCollum seems to hope the veteran small forward ends up as his teammate on the Portland Trail Blazers.

McCollum published a photoshopped picture of Anthony wearing a Blazers uniform on his Instagram page on Sunday but did not caption the photo.

It is not difficult to imagine what statement the Portland shooting guard was attempting to make, particularly as the Blazers had been initially speculated to be involved in a three-team trade for Anthony along with the Houston Rockets.

However, ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski claimed on Sunday that Portland was only interested in acquiring Anthony and did not wish to help the small forward move to Houston or to any other team by participating in a three-team swap.

“Portland believes the addition of a player such as Anthony would furnish it with talent and depth comparable to those of the top Western Conference contenders, except for the Golden State Warriors, league sources said,” Wojnarowski reported Sunday. “Because of that, the Blazers have little, if any, inclination to facilitate an Anthony deal that would land him with a Western Conference rival such as Houston, league sources said.”

Wojnarowski added that Anthony is willing to prepared to waive his no-trade clause should he agree to a deal with the Rockets or with the Cleveland Cavaliers, another rumored destination for the 2003 No. 3 overall draft pick. Nevertheless, Wojnarowski emphasized, the 10-time All-Star is most likely headed to Houston, despite the Knicks recently saying they would hold off on trading the veteran in order to adjust to their new management. 

This is the second time this year McCollum — whom the Blazers selected as the 10th overall draft pick in 2013 — has utilized social media to express his desire for a player from a different NBA team to join the Blazers. In April, the 25-year-old guard responded to a fan on Twitter who asked him who he would like Portland to acquire during the offseason. McCollum answered by saying Paul George, though he used George’s Twitter handle “Yg Trece:”

The Indiana Pacers recently traded George to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Floyd Mayweather remains “happily retired,” and also seems to have no reservations about publicly sharing his earnings.

On Tuesday, the legendary boxer shared a photo on Instagram of a $100 million check from his record-setting May 2015 fight against Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather’s total earnings from that fight ended up being around $250 million.

After that fight with Pacquiao, Mayweather defeated Andre Berto four months later and retired at 49-0.

Rumors have been circulating in the last few weeks involving Mayweather returning to the ring to fight. Nothing has officially been set, but among those who have challenged him to a bout is UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who recently acquired a boxing license from the state of California, in an attempt to switch over to the sport from MMA.

Nevertheless, UFC president Dana White recently stated that he doubts a Mayweather-McGregor matchup is likely.

White cited first and foremost, the dangerous nature of pitting an undefeated veteran up against a boxing debutant.

“It’s fun to talk about this fight and what might happen, but what commission would let that fight happen?” White said via Yahoo Sports.

“Really, think about that. I have no idea what Conor is doing. Conor’s Conor. He does his thing. But he’s under contract to me.”

“Gotta love these backseat drivers so worried about another man’s legacy instead of trying to write their own,” Mayweather posted in response to the rumors about his return to the ring. “Ultimately, I will always have the last laugh. This is just one of my many checks, a cool $100,000,000.00 that I still have every dime of.”

 The May 2015 Pacquiao-Mayweather fight generated a record 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and brought in over $600 million in revenue.

“Y’all still have to work however, I’m happily retired,” Mayweather wrote in the caption of the check photo. “At the end of the day, it’s them Benjamin Franklins that matter to me, so the jokes on you. I’ve made smart investments, sorry for those who thought that I couldn’t read, write, or count. Y’all call them watches, I call them time pieces. Y’all call them boats, I call them yachts. Y’all call them houses, I call them mansions. Y’all charter jets and we own jets.”

Australian hurdler and model Michelle Jenneke, who is competing in this summer’s Olympics in Rio di Janeiro, has taken the internet by storm with her charm and good looks.

The 23-year-old Sydney native went viral in 2012 for her captivating pre-race warmup routine, a “sexy-shake” type of dance as some called it, which she performed before several big races, including the 2012 World Junior Championships in Barcelona.

One photo Jenneke recently posted to Instagram, however, is standing out above the rest, and the reason why is very clear when you look at the picture:

There seems to be no doubt that Jenneke looks prepared for her first Games. She will make her debut in the 100-meter hurdles on Tuesday in Rio. And she is sure to entrance fans yet again if she brings back the warmup dance routine.

“I wouldn’t say that I really came up with it,” Jenneke told Sports Illustrated— for whom she has appeared in swimsuit issues– in 2013. “It’s just something that sort of happened in one of my races. Someone got a hold of the footage and decided to post it on YouTube. And somehow it racked up a lot of hits.”

“I like the challenge of hurdling, it’s a little more technical than just straight sprinting,” Jenneke also told SI during her 2013 shoot, which she did with fellow athletes like surfer Alana Blanchard and field hockey players Eva de Goede and Ellen Hoog. “It’s just something that I feel like I was born to do.”
