Patriots QB Tom Brady’s $200 Cookbook Sells Out

Tom Brady has released his very own cookbook, and despite the $200 price tag, it has already sold out.

Patriots QB Tom Brady’s $200 Cookbook Sells Out

It’s more of a ‘nutrition manual’ than a cookbook, actually. The “TB12 Nutrition Manual” features 89 recipes and, according to the New England Patriots quarterback’s website, is printed on 100-pound text paper with covers made from natural wood that include laser etching. This, along with the fact that the manual “is printed and hand assembled in the United States,” is the main reason Brady’s company is using to justify the high price tag.

Brady posted a picture from the book on his Facebook page, calling it “another step toward achieving your peak performance.” Brady also added this description of the manual on his website:

TB12 Nutrition Manual is a limited-edition “living document” containing information about our core TB12 nutritional philosophies and featuring a library of 89 seasonally-inspired recipes that you can use to support your TB12-aligned nutrition plan.

The QB also stated that you can continuously update the cookbook with your own recipes, as well as recipes that TB12.com will send you.

The TB12 Nutrition Manual is designed to be modified and expanded over time using its unique screw post binding: as we periodically update this manual with new or modified recipes, we will send additional pages to all purchasers of the manual.

Recipes include avocado ice cream and carrot cake.

Brady’s personal chef revealed in January that the Patriots QB eats “80 percent” vegetables as part of his diet. He also eats whole grains like, “brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans.”

Brady is also allowed to eat lean meats like grass-fed organic steak, duck, chicken and wild salmon.

Although the book is listed as sold out, a note says more may be available early next month.
