Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown missed the AFC divisional playoff game due to a concussion that he sustained after an illegal helmet hit from Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, and it does not seem in any way as if Brown has gotten over it. Steelers' Antonio Brown On Bengals' Vontaze Burfict: An 'Idiot Who Tried To Kill Me' Brown told the "Cook and Poni Show" on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh on Thursday that Burfict wanted to not only take him down on the field but kill him too. “Guys don’t want to stop me anymore. They want to take me out,” Brown said. “They want to kill me,” Brown said. “They want to steal my dreams. They want to ruin me. They want to end me, but we’re not gonna let them. What we are gonna do is win more.” Brown also added that he has no problem with trash talk or even physical threats, but that he thinks Burfict's playing style goes beyond that, to a borderline dangerous level. The Steeler continued his criticism of Burfict on "The Dan Patrick Show" and called him an 'idiot.' Following Burfict's hit, Brown insisted he had no chance of playing in the next playoff round game, although veteran Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones claimed he was faking an injury. Jones later publicly apologized in an Instagram video, although the two have not made amends yet.
