Orioles Vs. Rangers (Aug. 2) Game Preview: Time Start, Channel

The Texas Rangers will host the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night, and here is what you need to know.

This will be the opener of a four-game series. The Orioles (33-75) have won five of their last seven games, including a 7-5 victory over the Yankees in New York on Wednesday. The Rangers (46-63) last lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-0 on Tuesday, a defeat that came after four straight victories.

Yovani Gallardo (5-1, 6.26 ERA) will start for the Rangers against fellow righty Andrew Cashner (3-9, 4.33 ERA). Gallardo boasts 26 strikeouts this season and has logged a 4.81 ERA since being called up from the minors. Cashner has struck out 85 batters in 2018.
