The New York Rangers will host the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night, and here is everything you need to know before the matchup.
The Rangers (30-30-6) have had an extremely inconsistent season: they began with a big losing streak, then bounced back to win a few games and have since alternated between winning and losing. New York is seventh (second-to-last ahead of only the Islanders) in the Metropolitan Division. The Blueshirts are coming off three straight victories over Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
The Jets (39-17-9) are second in the Central Division.
Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist has had back-to-back 50-plus saves games, and will likely do just as well if not better.
