NHL Playoff Tickets Are On Sale Now! Get yours before they sell out! There are just 24 games left before the playoffs begin and here’s a look at the current division leaders and requirements for entry:

  • The Boston Bruins are leading the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division with a record of 35-11-12 with 82 points through 58 games. The Tampa Lightning are just one point behind and have a record of 38-15-5 in the same amount of games.
  • Still in the Eastern Conference, the Capitals are in first place in the Metropolitan Division with a record of 37-15-5 and currently have 79 points, five above the second place Pittsburgh Penguins.
  • In the West, The reigning Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues lead the Central Division with a record of 32-15-10 with 74 points barely ahead of the Colorado Avalanche who have 72 points.
  • The Pacific Division is also very tight with four teams separated by just 3 points. The Vancouver Canucks are in first with 69 points, three above the second place Edmonton Oilers.
  • Eight teams from each conference make the playoffs including the top three teams from each division which make up the first 12 to make the cut. The remaining four teams are the next two highest-placed finishers in each conference, based on regular-season record and regardless of division.
