The No. 8 seed Missouri Tigers will face the No. 9 seed Florida State Seminoles in a first-round NCAA Tournament matchup Friday evening, and here are all the facts to know.
Missouri will be without its second leading scorer, senior forward Jordan Barnett, who has been suspended for at least the first game of this year’s tournament following a DUI arrest. However, the Tigers are expecting to have star freshman Michael Porter Jr. available for the game.
The game will begin at approximately 9:50 pm EST and air on TBS. The Xavier-Texas Southern game will be played 30 minutes before this matchup.
Porter, the No. 2 overall recruit in 2017, has played in only two games, and in his first game back from a back injury he scored 12 points and had 8 rebounds in the SEC Tournament matchup. Missouri ultimately lost that game to Georgia 62-60.
