Sunday’s National Rugby League match between the New Zealand Warriors and Melbourne Storm turned out to be a fairly one sided contest, with the Warriors winning 28-14.
Yet during the game, Nathan Friend of the New Zealand Warriors delivered the greatest rugby pass that I have ever seen, passing it between his legs while being flipped in the air. And if that was not amazing enough, it actually led to an impressive try by Tuimoala Lolohea.
Obviously, Nathan Friend’s upside-down, between the legs pass was amazing, but the finishing try made it even more special. It starts with one of the most acrobatic plays I have ever seen, continues with a behind the back pass and ends with the Warriors playing ‘hands’ down the line, which results in Lolohea’s try.
