Man Steals Puck From A Kid At A Penguins Game
A grown man stole a puck that was meant for a boy during a Penguins-Sabres game at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh on Thursday night. Buffalo Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma threw the puck into the stands after it ended up landing in the bench area early in the second period. Bylsma clearly intended to throw it to this little boy in an honorable move, despite the fact that he was playing in the opposing team’s arena and the boy was clearly a Pittsburgh Penguins fan, judging from the hat and jersey he was wearing.
It is a commonly accepted kind gesture to give a loose puck to a kid if it ever ends up in the stands, even if it doesn’t land near one. Nevertheless, this man decided to ignore that courtesy and keep the puck himself. Fortunately, the Penguins took care of it, and the boy somehow ended up getting not only one, but two pucks, as a picture tweeted out by the team.
The Penguins won the game 4-3.
