Cowboys' Logan Wilson (Image: NFL)
Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson wanted a trade away from Paycor Stadium in October. And he got one.
The Bengals traded Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys, where he’s set to make his debut on Monday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
In exchange for the linebacker, Cincinnati received a seventh-round 2026 draft pick.
The 29-year-old’s playing time sharply declined in Ohio, playing 19.7% of defensive snaps in a loss against the Green Bay Packers and less than 50% in the match prior against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Despite Wilson featuring in every game for Zac Taylor‘s side, rookies Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight Jr. have been starters and played majority of the minutes in the linebacker position.
After joining the Cowboys at the NFL trade deadline, Wilson is set to play his first NFL game since Oct. 26.
“I’m not totally sure what that looks like,” he said to The Athletic on his debut expectations. “Just kind of controlling the controllables what I can. Trying to learn this system each and every day.”
The Monday night game will kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EST.
“There’s new things every day,” Wilson said. “And it’s not gonna happen overnight. It’s gonna take a little bit of time. But I’m doing my best to learn it as best I can.”
