During the Golden Chihuahua All-Star game dunk contest in Mexico, Lloyd Hickinson attempted to channel his inner Blake Griffin. So he moved a car in front of the rim, blasted encouraging music and rigged the board with pyrotechnics.
Unfortunately, he failed to clear the car, crashing spectacularly to the floor and altogether missing the basket — worst of all, the pyrotechnics continued to go off. Luckily, he was able to get up and retry the famous feat. And in his second attempt, while listening to “Eye of the Tiger,” he was able to dunk the ball with ease.
It would have been cooler the first time, but his redo was still pretty amazing.
