After releasing the Dez Bryant highlight reel, Max Preps thought it would be cool to upload another blast from the past. This time they posted an old news story about a very talented running back from Bishop McDevitt High School in Pennsylvania — LeSean McCoy.
But instead of being a straight highlight reel, they show some game and practice footage spliced together with a mini-interview with the athlete himself. The story was from McCoy’s sophomore year in high school, which would roughly be eleven years ago: and through just four games he already had 731 yards and 9 touchdowns. Though these were incredible number, the coaches believed he had plenty of room to improve.
And obviously improve he did, playing college ball at Pittsburgh for two years before taking his talent to the Philadelphia Eagles for the last five — yesterday he was traded to the Buffalo Bills. Best part of the video is how mature he is during the interview, talking about how the captains keep him focus and his big o-line keeps him humble — a clear class act all around.
