LeBron James Expresses Outrage At Killing Of Ahmaud Arbery: ‘We’re Literally Hunted Everyday’

LeBron James has been vocal regarding various social issues in the past. Yesterday was no exception, as James shared a powerful post on his Instagram and Twitter accounts regarding the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arber.

In his post, James wrote, “We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!” On February 23, Arbery was an unarmed black man who was out with his family before two white men chased him down and shot him near Arbery’s Georgia home. Neither of the men have been charged, despite there being video of the shooting.

James is just another public figure who has been demanding justice for Arbery and the shooting.

The two men who shot Arbery, George and Travis McMichael, were the only witnesses in the police report. They told investigators that they thought that Arbery was a burglary suspect and said that Arbery attacked Travis, with the two fighting over a shotgun until Travis shot Arbery twice.

The video that was released this week showed Arbery running before being confronted and then shot.

The case is currently in front of a grand jury in the state of Georgia.
