Kurt Busch’s Alleged Assassin Ex Patricia Driscoll Wins Protective Order

In one of the odder court cases in recent memory, Kurt Busch claimed his ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll was a paid contract killer after he allegedly slammed her head against a wall. The court has made their final decision and awarded the alleged assassin ex a protective order against the famous race car driver.

The decision stemmed from an allegation that Busch grabbed Driscoll during an altercation and slammed her head against a wall. Busch has famously claimed that this is impossible, since Driscoll  is a paid assassin and could easily dispatch of him The resulting story went viral over a month ago.

The protective order delivered by Judge David Jones stated that Busch must maintain at least 100 yards from Driscoll, unless at a NASCAR function. On top of this, he cannot contact her, possess a firearm and must have psychiatric evaluations. As for the pending criminal charges, the Delaware Attorney General has yet to move forward with them.

As for Busch’s attorney Rusty Hardin, “Though we are not surprised by the Commissioner’s ruling, in light of the restrictions on the evidence he considered, we are deeply disappointed because we believe the evidence of Ms. Driscoll’s total lack of believability was overwhelming. It is important to note that the Commissioner’s ruling is a civil family court matter and totally unconnected to any criminal investigation or finding.”

And finally, NASCAR will wait until the criminal proceedings runs its course before taking actions against Busch.  “These are serious allegations and we do not take them lightly,” the organization said in a statement. “We now await the full findings of the Commissioner and any actions by the Attorney General of Delaware related to the allegations against Busch.”

Busch plans to appeal Judge David Jones’ decision as soon as possible.
