Joe Burrow To Pass On Senior Bowl [Ticket Info]

LSU star quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and national champion Joe Burrow will pass on the Senior Bowl next week in Mobile, Alabama.

The Senior Bowl is the highest-regarded college football all-star game and is the last major offseason event on the NFL Draft schedule before the annual scouting combine.

Many seniors will begin workouts instructed by coaches from staffs of both the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions.

Burrow, who many believe will be drafted by the Bengals who have the first pick of the draft, admitted to playing the national championship game with a rib injury. His non-participation may be seen by some as negative for his draft profile, but coming off a historic season may trump his absence from the Senior Bowl.

Burrow will get a chance to focus on the scouting combine and decide what’s best for him in Indianapolis.
