Jim Harbaugh Pitches To Florida Kids, Including Spring Training Start

Michigan Wolverines football coach Jim Harbaugh has discovered an interesting way to pitch the Michigan program to kids in Florida.

Jim Harbaugh Pitches To Florida Kids

Harbaugh has drawn anger from some SEC and ACC coaches for conducting several satellite camps in the Southeast. He will serve as first base coach for the Detroit Tigers for a spring training game in Bradenton, Fla., on Wednesday, according to The Detroit News.

This is not Harbaugh’s first spring training coaching gig, however. He helped coach the Oakland A’s during a game in last year’s spring training and has previously stated that he would have liked to have played baseball professionally.

There’s even a chance he will spend some time on the Pittsburgh Pirates coaching staff too, since he’s a friend of Pirates manager Clint Hurdle, a Michigan fan.
