Jets Fans Buy Billboard To Mock Tom Brady

In the least surprising news in the history of sports, Jet fans have rallied together to buy billboards celebrating Tom Brady’s Deflate-gate punishment.

Supposedly, these fans have emptied their piggy banks and bought ads on 12 different electronic signs in northern New Jersey. They read “#TomShady, J-E-T-S, JETS! JETS! JETS!”

While the amount this childish prank cost is unknown, a spokesperson from Outfront Media has released a statement. “Jets fans are very passionate,” said Carly Zipp. “And this particular group wanted to express the opinion not just held by them, but by most football fans who are reacting to the news of Brady’s involvement in deflate-gate and subsequent punishment.”

This would not be the first time that Jets fans have rallied together to buy a billboard. In a practice that is becoming way too common in professional football, fans bought advertisement space for a “Fire John Idzik” sign near the Meadowlands. And after a 4-12 season, these individuals got their wish, as the organization fired everyone.

Again, Jets fans can argue about the Patriots’ cheating until they are blue in the face. But New England and Tom Brady still have four rings in 15 years. So what are they trying to prove with this billboard?
