Jake Paul & Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis Announce Exhibition Fight In November As Paul Battles ‘Rigging’ Allegations

Jake Paul will fight professional boxer Gervonta “Tank” Davis in November, with the event being broadcasted by Netflix.

The fight will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta later this year, with Netflix once again hosting the event like last year’s fight between the YouTuber-turned-boxer and Mike Tyson. The fight was widely criticized due to Tyson’s advance age.

Paul has also been accused of “rigging” his fights, and he has recently threatened to take legal action against his accusers.

Paul has already taken shots at Davis on his X account.

“Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long,” he wrote on Wednesday. “His nickname might be Tank, but I’m a FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy.”

Davis is yet to taste defeat in his professional boxing career, boasting a 30-0-1 record since 2013. His last fight ended in a draw with Lamont Roach Jr. on March 1 in New York City.

A scheduled rematch against Roach in August was canceled after being arrested a month earlier on charges of misdemeanor battery. According to Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation records, an argument erupted when Davis arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s house on Father’s Day to pick up their children. The argument between to two turned physical, according to the report.

The case was dropped on Aug. 12 after his ex-girlfriend refrained from prosecuting.

November’s fight will be Paul’s first time back in the ring since defeating Julio César Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision at the end of June. The 28-year-old holds a 12-1 record in professional boxing, winning seven times by knockout.
