Last week, Sen’Derrick Marks, with the help of Jacksonville’s “Dream Come True” foundation, asked 18-year-old Khameyea Jennings to prom. She is currently fighting liver cancer and desperately wanted to attend her prom.
Now when he asked, she said yes, but with a couple of conditions. First, he would need to wear a white-and-gold tuxedo and second he has to wear his hair down. Of course, he obliged both of her requests.

On top of picking up the nice tuxedo, he also bought her a tiara and drove them to prom in style — in his gorgeous Lamborghini.
“She said this is a day to be normal, not to have to worry about needles, chemo, potassium levels,” Laquandra Jennings, mother of Khameyea, stated. “Just a day to be a teenager and enjoy the prom.”
Though she does not know anything about football, the prom seemed to be a success as she really liked Sen’Derrick. And like he said, the most important thing for him to do was to make sure that “she is smiling.”
“I really want to make a difference,” Marks said. “I want to do something where you actually make someone’s day, to make a difference in someone’s life.”
After such a lovely evening, Marks plans on keeping in touch with Khameyea.
