Jaguars’ Sen’Derrick Marks Asks 18-Year-Old Cancer Patient To Prom

In one of sports’ cooler moments, Jaguars’ defensive tackle, Sen’Derrick Marks, decided to surprise 18-year-old cancer patient Khameyea Jennnings with flowers. But the flowers came with a catch, she has take the towering defensive lineman to prom with her. The stunned girl looked so shocked initially that all she could spew out was “yes.”

But soon she was able to warm up to Marks, telling him to wear a white and gold tux and to come with his hair down.

Either way, it is a lovely moment thanks to the Jaguars, Marks and the Jacksonville Dreams Come True organization. When all you usually hear from the NFL’s offseason are bad decisions or business deals, this is a wonderful change of pace.
