Mike Tyson just put a pin in any hopes the public had of seeing a fight between the “Baddest Man on the Planet” and YouTube-star-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
“This is new to me,” Tyson tweeted on Monday. “I saw Jake in St. Barths and he never mentioned it.”
It was recently reported by myriad outlets that “[a] verbal deal has been struck to get it on, but like all forms of sports business, now it’s all about the contracts and money split… Mike is looking for a certain figure to get into the ring with a profit share guarantee.”
However, a tweet straight from the horse’s mouth has ixnayed that potential high-profile exhibition bout.
