Coveted shooting guard Rayvon Griffith has committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats during a live ceremony.
The 6’7”, 180-pound four-star prospect from the Class of 2023 eschewed offers from Alabama, Kansas, Ohio State and UCLA, among others.
Griffith led Taft High School (Cincinnati) to a state title as a junior this past season. In doing so, he averaged 18 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
“I picked Cincinnati because it’s home and I want to play for [second-year Cincy] coach Wes Miller,” said Griffith; Miller’s team went 18-15 record this past season. “He’s a great coach and I feel like he recruited me the best so I feel like it will be a great opportunity there for me.”
