The Helio Castroneves Crash Is Downright Scary

During a practice run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Helio Castroneves’ car spun out and hit a wall, causing it to flip. It just narrowly missed pinning Helio on his head and luckily landed back on its wheels, with other drivers missing the wreckage by a narrow margin.

Somehow, he was able to walk away from the crash unscathed, according to Dave Furst of WRTV-6.

But it is a scary moment that shows how dangerous this series can be. The next race in the IndyCar Series is obviously the Indianapolis 500, which is on May 24.
