Ball initially made comments on his podcast where he said, “To be honest, I don’t think I ever got to my peak. And damn, that s— sucks.”

Ball then took to X, saying, “I retired? News to me lol cuz I’m still waiting for a call… NBA season long 🤷🏻‍♂️.”

They have built X handles for almost every sport for breaking news and have rarely had mishaps, which likely led major news outlets to trust them for breaking news.

Ball, who is currently a free agent, mentioned at the end of the tweet that he is “waiting for a call.”

This means Ball wants to get back up and running in the NBA, despite a career marked by unlucky injuries for the former top prospect.
