U.S. Marshals extradited former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown from Dubai on Thursday to face an attempted murder charge, according to the Miami Police Department.
The 37-year-old is being held in New Jersey and will soon be transferred to a Miami jail. The extradition concluded a four-month search for Brown after being issued an arrest warrant by Miami police in June.
In May 2024, Brown filed for bankruptcy after earning $80 million in the NFL.
Brown is facing a second-degree attempted murder charge. He is expected to appear in court after he is transferred to South Florida.
