Dodgers Projected To Lead MLB In Wins With 37 According To Caesars

With the MLB season set to be 60 games instead of the usual 162 in 2020, Caesars Sportsbook have updated their over/under win totals for teams this now shortened season. The Los Angeles Dodgers have the highest projected win total of anytime in Major League Baseball this season with 37. 

Originally, the Dodgers were projected to having the highest win total for a 162-game MLB season with 102 wins. Both the Dodgers along with the New York Yankees were viewed as the favorites to win the World Series in 2020. The Yankees come in with an over/under of 36.5 wins. 

Jeff Davis, who is the Director of Trading at Caesars, spoke to ESPN and commented on adjusting each team’s win total. “We didn’t overthink it,” he said. “Pretty much all of the numbers are a reflection of what our numbers were when the pandemic hit.”
