Detroit Pistons Reveal Alternative City Edition Jerseys

The Detroit Pistons have revealed their new alternative city edition jerseys for the season.


With their Twitter announcement, the team has revealed the design for their city edition jerseys for the upcoming season. The biggest takeaway is that the Pistons revamped the alternative jersey from last year. It is no longer purely red with two blue stripes going down. The new jersey design is now consisting of red, white and blue. It has the name Motor City and Detroit, Michigan circling the player’s number in white. These alternative jerseys will be worn at select games when the team plays home games at Little Caesars Arena.

Detroit, Michigan is known as the Motor City because it was at one point the global center of the automobile industry. It is still tjhe headquarters of Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Chrysler.
