In October, Jones partnered with Pampers to help install 5,000 changing tables in public restrooms across the United States and Canada, a mission set to be done by 2021.
A family man, Jones also coaches his two boys Marvin III and Mareon, in flag football in San Diego during the offseason.
The Detroit Lions released a statement saying, “The Detroit Lions fully support Marvin and Jazmyn during this extremely difficult time. Marvin and Jazmyn embody the true meaning of family, and the example they set has made them an inspiration to so many in our community. We thank everyone for the outpouring of support.”
Jones is in his fourth season with the Lions and has been on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. Before his injury, he had 62 catches, 779 yards and nine touchdowns.
