Denver Broncos 2024-2025 Season Outlook – Schedule & Ticket Deals

2023 saw Sean Payton coach for his first season in Denver – Payton’s campaign ended with an 8-9 record highlighted by a five-game win streak with one of the victories coming against the eventual Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs.

Week three’s game against the Miami Dolphins saw the Broncos surrender 70 points, a franchise record for points let up – the defense allowed 726 yards and ten touchdowns.

Russell Wilson bounced back from a disastrous 2022 but was benched the last two games for financial reasons – Wilson was then released in the offseason.

Wilson was let go on March 13 and his contract was terminated, resulting in him joining the Steelers. Safety Justin Simmons was released six days prior. Simmons was the Broncos’ longest-tenured player before his release, being with the team since 2016-17. The Broncos signed Levi WallaceMalcolm Roach and Cody Barton to fill positions of need on defense. Sam Mustipher and Matt Peart were brought in as depth pieces for the offensive line.

With the 12th overall pick, Denver selected Oregon’s Bo Nix in hopes that he’ll be the franchise’s next quarterback. Nix will be competing with Zach Wilson for the starting job. Wilson was acquired in a trade with the New York Jets in April for a seventh-round pick. Jonah Elliss was picked in round three to add to the pass rush.

The Broncos have the NFL’s 13th toughest schedule that’s headlined with teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.

Expectations are low in the Mile High City heading into 2024, however, the Broncos hope to see development within their QB room.
