Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders in 2008.
Deion Sanders is making big moves as he had a busy day getting recruits for Jackson State. The NFL Hall of Famer was able to attract two recruits and one transfer.
Sanders is currently the coach for Jackson State, but he had a busy Tuesday night. To kick things off, his son Shilo Sanders announced that he had transferred to Jackson State. Shilo had come off his red-shirted freshmen season with South Carolina as a defensive back. The defensive back was excited to transfer. “Pops said he needed some dawgs! So I’m joining my brother to help change the game at JSU and level the HBCU playing field,” Shilo said.
The second recruit happened to be Shilo’s younger brother, Shedeur Sanders, who is committed to the school as a 2021 class member. Shedeur is a four-star quarterback and ranked 35 in Texas.
The cream on top came Wednesday morning when the four-star cornerback recruit De’Jahn Warren committed to Jackson State. Warren was originally committed to Georgia and is ranked as the number one cornerback prospect and number two overall prospect.
